Sayani Gupta Calls Out Shah Rukh Khan’s Gandhi Jayanti Tweet; Former Asks Voice For Downtrodden

For the past couple of days, there has been upheaval in society on how the minorities get treated in the hands of the privileged people. There have many celebs who have spoken about the same via their social media platforms. However, SRK’s tweet on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti didn’t go well with Sayani Gupta.

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, many of the tinsel town residences shared the ideologies of the Father of our nation. Shah Rukh Khan too took to his social media handle to share the learnings of Mahatma Gandhi.

SRK tweeted, “If this Gandhi Jayanti there is One ideal we would like our children to follow, in good times, bad times and all the time….it should be Hear no bad…see no bad….speak no bad!  Remembering the value of truth on Gandhiji’s 151st Birth Anniversary.”

As soon as Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, his Fan movie co-start decide to take a subtle jibe. However, Sayani Gupta allegedly didn’t like SRK’s tweet.

The Four More Shots Please actress responded by allegedly asking King Khan to speak up for the downtrodden in the society.

Sayani’s tweet garnered mixed reactions from the netizens. However, SRK is yet to react.

A while back, Shah Rukh Khan got called out for endorsing fairness cream. This incident happens after his daughter Suhana Khan gave a befitting reply to the trolls making colourism remarks because of her skin tone.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to make his comeback on the big screen. Reportedly, he has been roped in for a movie titled Pathan.

Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan will also star in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming untitled venture.

Speaking of Sayani Gupta, season 1 of Four More Shots Please has been nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards.
