Bollywood filmmaker-actor Satish Kaushik was one of the most lovable celebrities in the industry. The actor left everyone in shock when he passed away early on March 9 in Delhi. If rumors are to be believed, he had gone to the home of businessman Vikas Malu with his buddies to celebrate Holi. Soon later, he suffered a heart collapse and died. Here is a summary of what has occurred thus far amid claims made by Malu’s second wife that the businessman might have killed the actor with a few pills.
The Mr. India actor stayed at Malus farm in Gurugram after enjoying Holi with his friends. His health started to deteriorate about midnight, even though he went to bed around 9:30. Kaushik then told his management that he was feeling anxious and restless, according to the Hindustan Times. After that, he was transported to Fortis Hospital in Gurugram, where he died at 1:43 in the morning while receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
To determine whether Kaushik’s death was the result of any foul play, the doctors check a post-mortem. He reportedly suffered a heart arrest and died naturally, according to reports. According to HT, the post-mortem analysis indicates that a “coronary artery obstruction” may have been the reason for the cardiac arrest. The late director reportedly had diabetes and hypertension as well. According to media reports, doctors have preserved the viscera or internal organs of the body.
After the actor’s death, the rumors started creating rounds that there must be foul play in his death. During the investigation, the Delhi South-West district police found questionable medicines in the farmhouse where he was staying. Shortly after that, Malu’s second wife claimed that the businessman must have murdered the director since the latter owed him Rs 15 crores. She described how the men’s business relationships and their subsequent financial disagreement.
Vikas then debunked the rumors by posting a video from their Holi celebrations on social media, in which the veteran could be seen dancing with him. Vikas wrote, “Satish Ji has been my family for the past 30 years and it did not take minutes for the world to use my name in the wrong light. I can’t fathom the tragedy that happened after our beautiful celebration together. Id like to break the silence and say that a tragedy is always unforeseen and no one has any power over it. With this I’d like to request the members of the media to respect everyones sentiments. Satish Ji will always be missed at all our celebrations coming forth.”
According to recent reports, the police has been checking seven hours of CCTV footage from the Holi celebration.
