Sara Ali Khan who made her debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor’s directorial ‘Kedarnath‘ alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and was then seen in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster hit ‘Simmba‘ starring Ranveer Singh, is now very popular among the masses in a very short span of time.
It is now reported that Sara Ali Khan may star in the next movie of well – known director Rahul Dholakia and the director who is known for directing some amazing movies like the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees, is very keen in casting the dazzling newcomer in his upcoming film. As a matter of fact, the makers of the film have already approached Sara for the movie and as there is no official announcement as of yet we wonder if Sara has given her nod.
Sara in a recent interview also revealed why she chose to do Simmba after Kedarnath. She said, “I was very keen to work with Rohit sir (Rohit Shetty, director of Simmba) and I am a fan of his work. I think that it was a different opportunity for me after Kedarnath. I think that somewhere movie business is a collaborative one and there are films and stories that you want to be a part of even if you don’t have a lot of screen time. This is why I decided to be part of Simmba and Rohit sir was nice enough to cast me.”
Currently, Sara is filming for her upcoming movie ‘Coolie No. 1‘ which she has been paired up opposite Varun Dhawan. The film also a remake of 1995 Govinda starrer film with the same name. The film is helmed by David Dhawan and will hit theatres on May 01, 2020. Prior to this Sara also wrapped up the shoot of another movie which is helmed by Imtiaz Ali and titled ‘Aaj Kal‘ and she will also be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan.
