Sara Ali Khan instead of being a newbie in the B-Town has risen to fame owing to her girl next door image. The young actress, who made her debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath back in 2018, was last seen in Simba which released the same year. Even after having no releases in 2019, the Kedarnath sweetheart was still in limelight because of her on-going shoots for “Coolie No.1” with Varun Dhawan, and also for “Love Aaj Kal” along with Kartik Aaryan.
Talking about “Love Aaj Kal”, this film had its trailer launch yesterday. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film has become a special part of Sara and Kartik’s career. During the trailer launch, both Kartik and Sara were all praises for Imtiaz’s effort.
While showering the Tamasha director with compliments, Sara said, “Imtiaz clearly knows what he wants from his co-stars and helps one reach that.” This statement from Sara is a clear indication of how much she has enjoyed working with Imtiaz.
Even Kartik expressed his feelings about being a part of “Love Aaj Kal”, he said, “I stayed up for hours just staring at the poster of the film as the tagline ‘An Imtiaz Ali film’ seemed extremely surreal to me.”
Talking about her co-star Kartik Aaryan, Sara said that Kartik was extremely supportive during the shoot of the film. After hearing this statement from Sara, Kartik even bowed down to her to express his gratitude.
“Love Aaj Kal” is the sequel of Imtiaz’s 2009 film with the same name starring Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan. This film is also set to follow the same path as the previous one did but it is said that it will have some kind of modern twist to it.
Along with Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan, “Love Aaj Kal” will also feature Arsuhi Sharma as the second lead. This film is slated to release on Valentine’s Day, and we hope that it adds more spark to the already romantic day.
