Sara Ali Khan Disagrees With Janhvi Kapoor’s THIS Remarks

Janhvi Kapoor disagrees with Janhvi Kapoor's remarks on not getting respect, says, "I don’t think respect has been a problem for me."

Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are Bollywood’s wonderful actresses and best friends. Since their debut in 2018, they have been competing against one another. Nonetheless, defying the perception that the two actresses wouldn’t get along, they have appeared in numerous commercials and photo shoots together. They even appeared together as guests on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan. Now, during a recent conversation, when Sara asked about Janhvi’s remark, she disagreed with her.

Sara has been recently busy promoting her upcoming movie Gaslight; during the promotion, she spoke to RJ Siddharth Kannan. RJ questioned Sara about Janhvi’s opinion of receiving movie opportunities but not respect from the audience. Disagreeing with it, the actress added that the biggest show of respect, which she received very early in her career, is for her people to accept her as she is. She continued by saying she had never experienced disrespect.

She quoted,  “I think for me, if you accept me for who I am, that’s the biggest sign of respect, and I think, touchwood, I got that very early in my career. But even then, whether it’s Kedarnath or Atrangi, I read the reviews I was given. I don’t think respect has been a problem for me.”

In an earlier interview, Janvhi stated that she believes she has more to offer and that she wants to demonstrate to herself that she can accept new challenges and overcome them. The phrase “Mujhe mauke bohot mile hai, par izzat abhi tak nahi mila” appears somewhere, and I believe it is what I am striving towards in my own eyes. To create a perception and then destroy it requires a lot of effort, said Janhvi.
