Sanjay Kapoor Speaks On Working With Madhuri Dixit After 25 Years

Sanjay Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit will be seen together in Netflix's upcoming series 'The Fame Game.'

Netflix has today dropped the trailer of much-awaited web series starring Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor. Initially titled ‘Finding Anamika’ the web series is now called ‘The Fame Game’ and revolves around a leading actress named Anamika Anand who goes missing one day. Her sudden disappearance unfolds the secrets and dark side of her life that seemed perfect in the limelight.

During the trailer launch of ‘The Fame Game’, actor Sanjay Kapoor opened up about reuniting with Madhuri Dixit after 25 years. Sanjay worked with Madhuri at the beginning of his acting career as they starred together in the 1995 film ‘Raja’. They again collaborated in 1996 for the film titled ‘Mohabbat’.

And now, in 2022, the two actors are coming together for the Netflix series ‘The Fame Game’. Speaking on the same, Sanjay said, “The journey has been unbelievable. Working with her is a pleasure. She has been very supportive. The first shot I gave with her was way back in 1993 and I didn’t feel that I was working with a superstar. And today, when she is playing a superstar in ‘The Fame Game’, on set she was as simple as possible. So, it is always a privilege to work with her.”

Sanjay Kapoor was last seen in Amazon Prime’s 2021 web series called ‘The Last Hour’ in which he played the role of DCP Arup Singh’. In ‘The Fame Game’, he will be seen playing the husband of Madhuri Dixit’s character Anamika Anand. It will start streaming on Netflix on 25 February.
