Bollywood’s much-awaited films Vikram, Major, and Samrat Prithviraj are all geared up for their release on the big screen. The filmmakers have begun the advance bookings for the films. And the advanced box office collections are also outputting Kamal Haasan’s film on the top of the list while Samrat Prithviraj secures the last place on the list.
Samrat Prithviraj Advance Box Office Collection Lags Behind
Despite intensive promotions of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming flick Samrat Prithviraj, the advance-booking numbers for the film are shockingly low. In advance bookings, Samrat Prithviraj is lagging behind even though there are huge expectations riding on the Bollywood historical action drama. Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel tweeted on Tuesday, “Advance booking of #SamratPrithviraj is DULL till now, it must escalate on Wednesday & Thursday considering it is an event film.”
Kamal Haasan’s Vikram Leads The Charts
Kamal Haasan’s Vikram has been leading the charts of advance bookings out of the three films. Haasan’s star power is backed by the anticipated big-screen experience and has proved to be a successful recipe and a major crowd puller. As per UAE-based film critic Umair Sandhu, Vikram’s advance bookings have already collected Rs 4.7 crore, and still, one more day is left before it releases on the big screens. While the film will soon launch its trailer in Dubai over the Burj Khalifa.

While on the other hand Major, has been holding special screenings throughout the country and the response is highly favorable. However, the advance bookings for the film are still low and least when compared with the other two films it is clashing with at the box office on June 3.
Sharing the progress film trade analyst Sumit Kadel tweeted, “Tremendous report pouring in for @AdiviSesh’s #Major from last night screening held in mumbai.. Few of my friends who saw the film left teary eyed & proud.. yeh film lambi race ka ghoda saabit ho sakti hai..”.
Will Samrat Prithviraj And Major Overtake The Vikram’s Earnings?
To overtake Kamal Hassan’s Vikram, Akshay’s Samrat Prithviraj and Major will have bag at least 1.5 crore business over Vikram. While it will be seen who will win and emerge at the top of the chart at the box office and gather the hearts of the viewers. The advance bookings will be an important factor in suggesting the opening of the trio at the box office.
