Samantha Ruth Prabhu is set to make her Bollywood debut after her stint in The Family Man. Ever since her fierce role in the second season of the thriller series fans have been wanting to see more from her in the Hindi belt. Fortunately, their wish is being fulfilled soon, as Samantha reportedly will feature in a horror comedy alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
The latest report suggests that the South diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu will make her Bollywood debut opposite Andhadhun actor. It is claimed that the 35 years old actress has signed the dotted lines of Dinesh Vijan’s project. It is said to be a part of the filmmaker’s famous horror-comedy universe. Talking about the horror-comedy universe Dinesh has created Stree and Roohi under Maddock films.
A source has informed a leading news portal that the film is ‘an intriguing’ horror story and boasts of humour and suspense. “Samantha plays the role of a princess and will be seen paired opposite Ayushmann, who enacts the role of a vampire. The film is based on a folklore story from Rajasthan and expands Dinesh Vijan’s proposed Horror-Comedy Cinematic Universe, which began with Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree and continues with the forthcoming movies, Bhediya and Munjha, starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, respectively,” the source claimed.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, ‘Yashoda’. It is pan-India film set to arrive in theatres on 8th October. On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana has ‘Doctor G’ with Rakul Preet Singh. He also announced ‘Dream Girl 2’ with Ananya Panday.
