On Jan 17, 2022, actor Dhanush and his wife Aishwaryaa Rajnikanth announced their decision to part ways. The couple got married on 18 November 2004 and have two sons together. Ending their 18 years of marriage, they said in a social media post, “We have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better.”
2- Nitish Bhardwaj and Smita
Television actor Nitish Bhardwaj, who is best known for playing Shri Krishna in BR Chopra’s Mahabharat announced separation from his second wife Smita on 18 Jan 2022. His wife is an IAS officer and the couple has twin daughters. Talking about ending his 12 years of marriage, Nitish told, “Sometimes divorce can be more painful than death.”
3- Sanjeeda Shaikh and Aamir Ali
Popular Television couple Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh ended their marriage recently. The couple who tied the knot in 2012, was going through a rough patch in their relationship and were living separately. They also have a baby daughter, Ayra Ali through surrogacy. After the divorce, Sanjeeda has got the baby girl’s custody.

4- Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya
Telugu superstars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya, who married each other in 2017 after dating for almost a decade decided to part ways in 2021. On Oct 3, they announced their separation on social media and said that they have decided to pursue their own paths.

5- Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao
Aamir Khan announced separation from his second wife a few months ago. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao got married in 2005 and have a 10-year-old son named Azad Rao Khan born via surrogacy. On July 3, 2021, the couple issued a joint statement announcing that they have ended their 15 years of marriage but will continue to co-parent their son.
