Sam Bahadur Teaser: Vicky Kaushal Starrer Will Release On THIS Date

The teaser of Meghna Gulzar’s much-anticipated film “Sam Bahadur” is finally out now. The biopic is based on the life of the late Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal will be seen essaying the role of “Sam Manekshaw”. Apart from Vicky, the film will also star the Dangal duo, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra who will be seen essaying the role of Indira Gandhi and Silloo Manekshaw (Sam Manekshaw’s wife).

Taking to his Instagram account actor Vicky Kaushal shared the much-awaited teaser of his film and wrote, “365 days to go…#Samबहादुर in cinemas 1.12.2023”. Watch here-

Reacting to the teaser Vicky’s father Sham Kaushal wrote, “All the best Puttar. Proud of u. God bless the film & whole team with all the success.” Apart from him many netizens shared their reactions, a user commented, “Can’t wait for this one Field Marshall Manekshaw’s Fan…what a man he was”.

Who Was Sam Manekshaw?

The film “Sam Bahadur” is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and his work in the Indian Army. For the unversed, Sam Manekshaw was the first Indian officer who was given the rank of Field Marshal and his military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led to the creation of Bangladesh. His career spanned over four decades and five wars.

Sam Bahadur is a biopic film based on the life of the late Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars actors Vicky Kaushal as “Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw”, Fatima Sana Shaikh as “Indira Gandhi” and Sanya Malhotra as “Silloo Manekshaw” (Sam Manekshaw’s wife). Apart from them the film also stars Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, Richard Bhakti Klein, Saqib Ayub, and Krishna Kant Singh Bundela, among others. The film will be released on 1st December 2023.
