Within this new year 2021 starting with a bang now, amazing news just came in wherein all the Bollywood’s eternal Dabanng Salman’s fans will be really excited as it is Salman’s surprise appearance in Pankaj Tripathi’s film Kaagaz.

Not only presenting the film, but Salman even came on board as a voiceover who we all would be hearing reciting out a poem on how Kaagaz also known as paper in English, rules and sort of also governs our lives.

In a recent interview, when asked about it, the film’s director Satish Kaushik fondly said, “We wanted him in our film even if it was just his voice. His fans would love our film much more. We got Salman to do a voiceover in the beginning and at the end. He brackets the drama very nicely”.

Interestingly, this is the first time ever that Salman has given his voice to any film. If we talk about most number of voice overs done by any Bollywood superstar in B town, then it has to be legendary and ace veteran cult superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh has done record breaking number of voice overs, commentaries for our Indian cinema which include Shakti Samanta’s Balika Badhu, Satyajit Ray’s Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani, Vinod Chopra’s Parineeta, Rakesh Roshan’s Krissh 3, Luc Jacquet’s March Of The Penguins, Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodha Akbar, and Srijit Mukherjee’s Begum Jaan.

His first ever voice over in Bollywood was with Mrinal Sen’s film Bhuvan Shome. Then several films followed soon after that.

The most talked about and iconic rewarding voice overs by Big B have been for the son et lumiere renditions for some prominent and important national monuments of our country India especially for the Government of India which includes Khajuraho, Golconda Fort, Gwalior Fort, Tirupati, official presentation for the Punjab Museum under construction, and several other religious institutions as well.

Also, Amitabh Bachchan has been associated vocally with the son et lumiere at Ajmer fort in Jaipur for Rajasthan Government from past few years.

Kaagaz is presented by Salman Khan Films with Satish Kaushik Entertainment Production and produced by Salma Khan, Nishant Kaushik and Vikas Malu. This film has been helmed by Satish Kaushik. The film will premiere on 7th January 2021 on Zee 5 Premium and will release in a few selected cinemas in Uttar Pradesh.
