Salman Khan’s Radhe To Miss Its Eid Release Date?

The whole Bollywood industry has come to a standstill because of the lockdown in the nation due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. Many shoots have been allegedly halted and release dates of various movies are getting postponed.

The recent movie to join the list is Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The film was expected to end its shoot and start the post-production part by the end of this month but due to the current scenario, everything has been halted. The film’s last schedule is yet to be shot and the shoot can be released only when the situation normalizes.

A source close to the film’s development says, “The shoot was supposed to get over earlier. But the Thailand schedule had to be canceled, again due to the Coronavirus scare. It was then shifted to Mumbai. Finally, only 8-10 days of shoot remained. This included patchwork and a song featuring the lead actors Salman Khan and Disha Patani. The target was to wrap up the filming by month-end. The unit was strictly following all safety guidelines and using sanitizers. Sadly, a decision was taken on March 16 that no film shoot shall take place from March 19. Then, on March 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a lockdown until April 14. As a result, things went for a toss.”

The sources further added that the posy-production of the scenes that were filmed before the lockdown has also come to a standstill. The film’s release date might get postponed as the VFX studios and other such workplaces have been shut, hence most of the work will now be complete post the lockdown. Apart from that, the film’s major chunk is yet to be shot.

Talking about the film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was slated to release on Eid. But now as the Eid falls on 23rd May, the remaining work can’t be completed within less than 40 days in hand.

Keeping in mind the above circumstances, the makers will definitely have to postpone the release of the Salman Khan starrer film.
