Salman Khan’s much-awaited film ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ is creating a lot of buzz prior to its release. The audience is eager to witness the Dabanng actor play a double role in the film, one being Hindu and other being Muslim. The question was taking rounds in the B-Town as of who will romance with Salman Khan in the movie but it seems like producer Sajid Nadiadwala has spilled the beans over it.
The makers of the film have found the leading lady who will share the screen space with Salman Khan. And the actress is none other than Pooja Hegde, she was last seen in Housefull 4. The makers of the film said that having worked with Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar, they assume Pooja will be pair up perfectly with Salman Khan.
Confirming this news, producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, “Having worked with Pooja in Housefull 4, we felt she was a perfect fit for this film. She has been an amazing screen presence and will make for a good pair with Salman. They will bring freshness to the story.”
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is said to be a family drama and the makers are aiming for Eid 2021 release. According to some reports, as Salman and Pooja will be working together for the first time, the makers have planned several workshops to help them break the ice.
Talking about Pooja’s role in the film, she will be playing a traditional small-town girl who is the polar opposite of Salman’s character. The love story between the two is a mature beautiful one.
Speaking of Salman’s character, he will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar and the film will be high on action.
