Salman Khan revealed as Dabangg was left open ended, the idea of a sequel came in

Dabangg 3, which happens to be the most anticipated film of 2019 will hit theatres today. The film stars Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and newcomer Saiee Manjrekar in the lead roles, while the film tells the story of Chulbul Pandey’s past. Salman left everyone impressed with his previous films  Dabangg and Dabangg 2. But now fans were wondering how did the makers think about exploring  Chulbul’s past and how  Prabhudheva joined the team of Dabangg 3. 

Salman in his recent interview spoke about how the idea of a sequel to Dabangg came in. He said “We had kept Dabangg open-ended because we felt we might come up with a sequel. At that point, Arbaaz asked if we were probably being a little pompous about the film’s fate. I told him ‘if the film works, well and good; if not, there’s nothing we can do.’ Fortunately, everyone liked it, So we made Dabangg 2 in 2010.” 

Salman further revealed that he came up with the Dabangg 3 prequel in an attempt to explore Chulbul’s past. And now with 3 Dabangg films, he revealed that he automatically switches to  Chulbul’s mode on the set. Salman also stated that with Prabhudheva as the director, he added South’s heroism to the film, and also knows how to combine humour and romance elements on the screen.

With Dabangg 3 hitting the silver screens today, fans are excitedly waiting to see Salman in the Chulbul role. Helmed by Prabhudheva, the film’s songs such as Munna Badnaam Hua, Yu Karke and Hud Hud are creating quite the stir on musical platforms. With South superstar Kiccha Sudeep as the antagonist and produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films, Dabangg 3 will hit your nearest theatres today.
