The year is likely going be Salman Khan’s year with two much-awaited films in his kitty- Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Radhe: Your Most anted Bhai. While Radhe is at a verge of wrap up with just 8 to 10 days of shoot remaining, the superstar has already decided on his timeline for the next three films.
The sources close to the film revealed, “Once the Coronavirus scare subsides, he would finish the remaining portions of Radhe and then jump onto the film’s promotion. There lies an uncertainty about the Eid 2020 release at the moment as cinema halls are shut and shooting has come to a stand-still. Only once they start shooting will a release date be decided.” The news surely puts a question mark on the film’s Eid release.
Soon after Radhe, Salman will begin the shoot for his next gangster drama, featuring Aayush Sharma as a north Indian gangster. In the film, Salman will essay the role of a Sikh cop. Salman is said to have a more than extended cameo type of role in the film.
The shoot for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali was supposed to kick-start in the mid-October or the end of the month, for the film’s Eid 2021 release. But sources say that Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala had already closed the door meeting to reschedule the shooting days, much before the coronavirus outbreak. The film will go on floors by August-end, early September as things stand today.
Sources close to Tiger 3 series say that Aditya Chopra wanted to take Tiger 3 on the floors from January end or early February and Salman Khan was also equally elated to work on the spy thriller, which planned as biggest till the date.
The sources further added that since Salman’s calendar was free from August, he requested Sajid if the film can go on the floors before the planned schedule. And given to Salman’s friendship with Sajid, he agreed for the same.
The hunt for searching an ace director for the third installment of the Tiger series is still going on and the speculations are that announcement about the same will be done in April.
