The sudden demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput led to a heated debate on the internet that the actor became the victim of the nepotism and general Bollywood camps existing in the industry which eventually led him to take this drastic step. The Kai Po Che actor died of suicide on June 14, 2020, and his dead body was found at his residence in Mumbai.
While Sushant’s tragic death has triggered off a massive outrage against the spirit of nepotism that prevails in the B-Town, the consequences of the event can be felt and heard across the whole nation.
However, in the city of Patna where the Chhichhore actor was born, the people have taken vows to ban superstar Salman Khan alongside filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Alia Bhatt. They have are considered them as the emblems of Bollywood’s clannish culture that stopped Sushant Singh Rajput from discovering his full potential in the Hindi cinema.
Since the news of Sushant’s tragic death broke out, Bihar has been immersed in a state of constant grief and anger over the death of their star-son Rajput, who at the age of 34 ended his life.
On Thursday hordes of young Rajput fans in Patna marched to Salman Khan’s Being Human clothes store and asked the managers of the shops to shut their shops.
The anger against Salman Khan comes from an old viral video where Salman when questioned about working with Sushant Singh Rajput, asked, “Sushant who?”
Bihar considers Salman as the embodiment of all that ails Bollywood and took the life of young Rajput.
The renowned actor from Bihar, Pankaj Tripathy who was last seen giving a stunning performance in the Netflix series Sacred Games said that there is no denying of the existence of nepotism and favoritism in the Mumbai film industry.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police are investigating the case and till now have recorded statements of the people close to the late actor including his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
