Salman Khan is busy shooting Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and working on his action franchise Tiger 3. Amid this, he reported to team up with Kamal Hassan’s movie ‘Vikram’ Director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The superstar was often in conversation in the past two years about his collaboration with Mythri Productions. Finally, Salman Khan join hands with the Telugu films production house for a huge film that will be helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Bhaijaan has taken a script into consideration pitched by Harish Shankar. According to Bollywood Hungama reports, Mythri Productions will star Salman Khan in a film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. One of the leading film houses from the South wants to launch the filmmaker in the Hindi film industry. Reportedly, a secret meeting took place in Hyderabad between the actor and the director.
According to sources: “When Salman was in Hyderabad recently, a discreet meeting of Salman with Lokesh and Mythri took place. The trio discussed a probable collaboration and have spoken about bouncing back on the idea once both Salman and Lokesh complete their present commitments.”
Interestingly, Salman is being offered a film for the second time by the director Lokesh. Earlier, he approached the superstar for the official remake of Master by Murad Khetani. The producer wished Kanagaraj to direct Bhai in the film but things didn’t materialize. However, this time a fresh project is on papers. Over the years many renowned south filmmakers like Atlee, Shankar, Trivikam, and Kortala Siva were eyeing to work with Khan.
On the work front, Salman is starred alongside Shenaaz Gill, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, and Venkatesh in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. His 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s sequel titled Pavan Putra Bhaijaan is also on cards. Meanwhile, he also has an action thriller franchise’s third installment Tiger 3 in the pipeline. He is also likely to begin shooting for Aneez Bazmees No Entry Mein Entry.
