Salman Khan Address Bollywood Vs South Debate, We Together Can cross ₹ 3000-4000 Crores

Salman Khan addressed Bollywood vs south debate, the long-time ongoing subject in the film industry

Salman Khan is busy promoting his upcoming movie Godfather along with South superstar Chiranjeevi. A few days before the scheduled release on the 5th of October the team launched the trailer. When Bollywood and south film stars and filmmakers are collaborating the north-south divide still continues. During the Hindi trailer launch of Godfather, Salman Khan addressed Bollywood vs south debate, the long-time ongoing subject in the film industry.

Godfather is Salman Khan’s debut in a Telugu movie and also his first pan-India film. During the interaction with media, the Dabang actor spoke about working in South films. He aspires to do south movies when others wish to go to Hollywood. He also feels when two industries will come together they will make a whopping amount. Godfather is anticipated to be a big hit with two superstars Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi from their respective industries coming together in one film for the first time.

Addressing the issue Bhaijaan said, “People want to go to Hollywood, I want to go to the south. The thing is that once we all start working together, just imagine the numbers that we will have, that is the main thing. People watch it here, people watch it in the south, you have all the theatres. His (Chiranjeevi) fans go and watch me. My fans become his fans; his fans become my fans. So, everyone just grows and grows, the numbers become very large. People talk about ₹ 300-400 crores, if we all get together, then we can cross ₹ 3000-4000 crores.”

We agree with his quotes. Many other celebrities too have asserted that we are together an Indian Cinema rather than the south film industry or Bollywood film industry. We have already been working together on films like RRR, KGF2, Chup, PS-1, and more where the star cast has actors from both industries.

Talking about Godfather, it is a political action drama helmed by Mohan Raja. The film also stars Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana in lead roles. Salman Khan will play Chiranjeevi’s brother in an extended cameo. The movie is set to open in theaters on 5th October 2022. Godfather will clash with Nagarjuna’s The Ghost.
