The film’s director, Siddharth Anand, expressed his gratitude for the partnership with Netflix and how exciting it was to work with such a big streaming platform. Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins is about a skilled thief hired by a dangerous crime lord to steal the world’s most coveted diamond, The African Red Sun. However, the heist takes an unexpected turn, leading to chaos and betrayal.
In the recent separate interview with Lehren Retro, filmmaker Akashdeep Sabir raised concerns about the security at Saif Ali Khan’s home. He criticized the couple for not having enough security, even though they live in a high-profile building. Akashdeep pointed out that having CCTV cameras is not enough, and that proper security is what truly matters.
