A terrific incident took place at the Saif Ali Khan – Kareena Kapoor residence as an intruder broke into their house for robbery and attacked Saif with a knife. The actor who was rushed to the Lilavati hospital immediately at 3.30 am, on Thursday is undergoing a surgery since 5.30 am in the morning. While police officials are stationed outside his house and investigation is still going on, political leaders from Shiv Sena and Congress parties have slammed the Maharashtra CM upon the same.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey bashed Maharashtra government, calling out the security protocols of the state. Taking it to his X account, Dubey wrote, “When celebrities and VIPs are not safe in this country, then what will happen to the normal people. Earlier, there was firing outside Salman Khan’s residence, then Baba Siddique was murdered and now Saif Ali Khan has been stabbed. Is there any law and order or not in Mumbai? Devendra Fadnavis should take cognizance of this matter. It is an unfortunate incident.”.

Anand’s message highlighted the concern regarding celebrity’s security by connecting the dots to the Baba Siddique murder, that recently took place amid Lawrence Bishnoi and Salman Khan’s rift. he mentioned in his statement that if a Nawab Pataudi’s son is not safe and is being attacked in the middle of a night then one can easily enter into a poor shanty dweller’s home.
Also Rajya Sabha member Priyanka Chaturvedi has called the incident as a shame on MH government. She wrote on X, “What a shame that Mumbai sees another high profile attempt on life, the attack on Saif Ali Khan yet again raises questions on Mumbai Police & the Home Minister. This is after a series of incidents that show there is a deliberate attempt to undermine Mumbai by targeting big names: – Baba Siddique ji’s family is still awaiting justice after his shocking murder. – Salman Khan forced to live in a bullet proof house. – Now it is Saif Ali Khan All in Bandra. Congress Leader Questions Law & Order Amid Saif Ali Khan Attack
Not only Shiv Sena, but Congress party leader Varsha Gaikwad has also reacted to the Saif Ali Khan attack. She took to her social media showing concern upon the incident and also drew attention towards lack of security under Fadnavis government. Her long penned note questioning the law and order read, “Extremely shocked at this brazen attack. What is going on in Mumbai? That this happens in Bandra in a what is known as a safe neighbourhood, is what is most concerning. What security can the common man then expect? Meanwhile, as reported by the police officials, two househelp and a driver is taken into custody from Saif Ali Khan’s residence to study the whole scenario and understand how the burglary attempt took place. Saif is however out of danger but was stabbed by the intruder for over six times causing severe injuries to his body.
