Rishi Kapoor’s Birth Anniversary: Daughter Riddhima Writes An Emotional Note

On Rishi Kapoor's 68th birth anniversary, daughter Riddhima Kapoor has penned an emotional note on Instagram.

It’s the birth anniversary of late actor Rishi Kapoor and just another day for the family to miss him even more. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor would have turned 68 this year. He lost his battle to cancer in April this year.

Rishi Kapoor’s daughter pens a note:

Remembering him on his special day, daughter Riddhima penned a heart-wrenching note on her Instagram profile. She wrote, “Papa, They say when you lose someone, you can’t live without -your heart will badly break! But I know you are living in this broken heart & will be there forever!
I know you are watching over all of us & ensuring that we live by the value system you instilled in us!
You gave me the gift of compassion -taught me the value of relationships & made me the person I am today! I miss you each day & will always love you! Celebrating you today & always – Happy Birthday.”

She also shared several pictures of the family.

Riddhima was in Delhi when Rishi Kapoor took his last breath. She was also not able to attend his funeral due to the lockdown. During that time, Riddhima had written, “I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you.” 

She also wrote, “Papa I love you I will always love you – RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you – your Mushk forever.”

After Rishi Kapoor’s unfortunate demise, Riddhima has been a constant support for Neetu. The mother-daughter duo is living together at their residence in Mumbai.

Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. He then moved to New York to receive the treatment and had returned to India in Oct 2019. He was last seen in film ‘The Body’ which hit the screens in Dec 2019.
