Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Emotionally Remembers Rishi Kapoor By Sharing A Photo From Last Diwali

Taking to her Instagram Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shares a picture of her late father Rishi Kapoor from last year’s Diwali celebration.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, after battling cancer for two years. The actor’s sudden demise sent shock waves across the tinsel town. The whole entertainment fraternity mourned the loss of an incredible artist. The Kapoor family surely is numb after the untimely death of Rishi Kapoor. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shares a picture of Rishi Kapoor from last year’s Diwali alongside an emotional note.

Taking to her Instagram story, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shares a picture of herself alongside mother Neetu Kapoor and father Rishi Kapoor. In the picture, they are dressed in traditional wear while posing for the camera. She put up a note, “#lastyearmemories #diwali2019 Miss you papa.”

Rishi Kapoor’s absence will surely be felt by the Kapoor family who is keeping their Diwali celebration lowkey this year.

For the unknown, Rishi Kapoor was admitted to the hospital on the night of April 29 after his health deteriorating. However, at the age of 67, he succumbed to death after his long hard battle with cancer.

After Rishi Kapoor’s demise, he is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. They are slowly moving on from the loss by focusing on their work.

While Ranbir Kapoor reportedly will resume shooting for his upcoming venture Brahmastra alongside Alia Bhatt, his mom Neetu Kapoor is also knee-deep in work commitments.

The veteran actress will share the screen space with Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. The film also features Anil Kapoor and YouTube sensation Prajakta Koli. The film’s title is Jug Jug Jiyo and it will be directed by Raj Mehta.
