Fukrey duo Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha who are currently busy with their wedding festivities were legally married to each other for over 2.5 years. In a recent interview, the spokesperson of the duo confirmed the news and said that the duo registered their marriage about two and a half years ago and are currently celebrating it with their family and friends.
Richa Chadha & Ali Fazal Were Legally Married For Over 2.5 Years
Richa-Ali’s spokesperson’s statement read, “This is to clarify that Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been legally married for 2.5 years when they registered their wedding. Currently, they are celebrating their union with friends and family, as was already mentioned by them on 29th September in their statement.”
While earlier the Fukrey duo shared audio on their Instagram in which the actress mentioned formalizing their union in 2020, she said, “Two years ago we formalized our union and just then the pandemic hit us all,” Ali further added, “Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other.”
Richa then continues, “And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends.” Ali then says, “We are so so very touched and blessed by the love and blessings coming our way.” Richa then signs off saying, “We offer you nothing but our love, thank you.”

For the uninitiated, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal first met in 2012 as they went on to shoot their film Fukrey, the duo instantly fell in love with each other, and the duo dated each other for almost 7 years after which the 3 idiots actor Ali Fazal finally proposed Richa in the year 2019, the duo decided to get married in 2020 but due to the pandemic, they had to postpone their wedding plans. The duo recently hosted their wedding festivities with their family and friends.
