Rhea Chakraborty has been taken to Sion hospital by a team of NCB officials for a medical test. The actor was taken into custody after several rounds of interrogation that were conducted over the last few days.
Rhea has been charged under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. She confessed to procuring, selling and consuming hard drugs. Her brother Showik Chakraborty, who has been under the custody of NCB since Friday has also confessed the same.
Rhea and Showik gave names of several actors, directors and producers who are allegedly related to a drug cartel. They also exposed the recent Bollywood parties and how drugs were smuggled. As a result, NCB will now issue a summon to 20-25 Bollywood celebrities to carry out further investigation.
