Rhea Chakraborty Summoned by NCB For Second Round Of Interrogation

Following the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has come up as one of the prime suspects in the case. The actress has been alleged of several accusations and is facing wrath from SSR’s fans. As of now, Rhea Chakraborty is summoned by the NCB for the second round of interrogation.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is looking into a drug conspiracy angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had approached the NCB when the possibility of drug consumption surfaced in the on-going investigation.

NCB’s interrogation went on for six hours for the first time thy summoned Rhea. However, the NCB the investigation wasn’t complete.

Hence Rhea Chakraborty has been summoned for the second round of questioning by NCB.

As of now, the NCB has interrogated Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty, and Sushant’s house help Dipesh Sawant. For the unversed, ahead of Rhea’s first round of interrogation, her lawyer issued a statement saying, ‘Ready for arrest’.

The full statement by Rhea’s lawyer read, “Rhea Chakraborty is ready for Arrest as this is a Witch Hunt and if Loving someone is a crime she will face the consequences of her love. Being innocent, She has not approached any court for Anticipatory Bail in all the Cases foisted by Bihar Police now with CBI, ED and NCB.” 

Last week, Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager, Shruti Modi reportedly confessed drugs being a part of the late actor’s life. Shruti also mentioned that she was allegedly forced to be a part of it.

The drug conspiracy angle in the case came up when the WhatsApp chat screenshots went viral. The chats were between Rhea and a few others.

Apart from NCB and ED, the CBI is also working in full swing on the case.
