Rhea Chakraborty Reaches Home After Spending 1 Month In Jail

Rhea Chakraborty finally reached her home after the Bombay High Court granted her bail.

Rhea Chakraborty has finally reached her home after spending 1 month in Byculla jail. She was taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau after it was found out that she used to procure drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput. Bombay High Court granted her bail in a hearing yesterday and she went home to unite with her parents.

Rhea didn’t face the media and covered her car window with a newspaper.

While Rhea has been granted bail, her brother Showik’s bail plea has been rejected. Rhea will have to appear before the Mumbai Police every day for the next 10 days. Her passport has been taken away by the authorities so that she can’t fly out of India while the investigation is still on.

A CBI official told a news portal,  “Chakraborty continues to be under scanner for abetment to suicide. But it is true CBI hasn’t yet found any motive for abetment. There was a forensic audit done of Rajput’s account. There is nothing concrete in the audit report to suggest that Chakraborty siphoned off funds and this led to the actor’s suicide. The expenses incurred by Rajput on her are comparatively small and can easily be explained as expenses on a friend. However, there are many angles to the suicide and our investigation is still on.”
