A while back, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Rhea Chakraborty. The actress reportedly admitted procuring drugs along with her brother Showik Chakraborty. However, the latest update suggests that Rhea Chakraborty has said the court that she was forced by NCB to make ‘incriminatory confessions’.
Following the arrest, Rhea Chakraborty was sent to 14-day judicial custody. As of now, the Jalebi actress has applied for a fresh bail plea.
The hearing for the petition is underway currently. The magistrate court rejected Rhea’s earlier plea.
In her new bail plea, the 28-year old actress has allegedly claimed that she has not committed any crime. In fact, Rhea Chakraborty said that NCB forced her to make incriminatory confessions.
Rhea’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde has issued a fresh plea. The advocate is claiming that his client has been falsely implicated in the case.

Meanwhile, the court is simultaneously hearing the bail petition from Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty.
For his alleged involvement in the case, the NCB summoned Showik on September 4.
The NCB interrogated Rhea for almost three days before taking her into the custody.

NCB might file another plea, for further investigation. They are also allegedly trying to keep Rhea and other three suspects under police remand.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) approached Narcotics Control Bureau in the Sushant Singh Rajput case after they suspected a drug conspiracy angle.
Later, WhatsApp chat screenshots of Rhea Chakraborty went viral on the internet. The chats hint that the actress was allegedly buying or procuring illegal drugs.
The CBI also is working in full swing while probing the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik are among the prime suspects in the case.
