Rhea’s Bail Plea Refused – Sessions Court Rejected the Bail Application

Rhea Chakraborty's bail application plea which had been filed by her lawyer recently gets refused by the sessions court in Mumbai.

Rhea Chakraborty had been arrested by the NCB last week in the drug angle probe of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s on going death investigation after the detailed examination that took place last week for three days between NCB and Rhea. Today, Rhea’s bail plea has been refused by the sessions court, Mumbai.

Her lawyer Satish Manshinde has made an official statement where he stated that they will share copy of the bail application as soon as its filed. Rhea’s lawyer says We are in no hurry to apply for bail.

Rhea still continues to be a prime suspect in late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s ongoing death probe investigation.

She was arrested last week by the NCB (Narotics Control Bureau) for reportedly arranging and financing the procurement of illegal drug marijuana and its consumption too.

Many reports over the weekend said that the Chakraborty’s are all set to challenge the session court’s decision in the high court but now her lawyer has issued an official statement and said that they are in no hurry to apply for the bail.

According to a leading newspaper, Rhea’s lawyer’s statement for Rhea and her brother Showik’s bail was quoted as:

Even if we get a copy of the Order today, we are not in a hurry and moving immediately. We will study the order, it’s implications and developments in the case at the NCB level and then decide. There’s no room for speculation. once it is filed we will share a copy of the bail application.

Meanwhile her bail plea was recently rejected by the Mumbai sessions court which also means that she will continue to be in the jail. Also the NCB has said that Rhea was involved in illegal procurement and consumption of drugs based on her statements.

NCB also had solid evidences of her whatsapp chats with drug peddlers, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda, and Sushant’s house help Dipesh. Also other proofs were recovered from the laptops and tablets of Rhea that contained the call records too.

Besides, the ED (Enforcement Directorate) is continuously assessing and cross examining the irregularities in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s bank account.

Also the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) are continuing their examination of the drug angle in the case.
