20 days after welcoming their first child, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have finally shared the name of their baby girl. Anushka gave birth to a beautiful girl on Jan 11 and since then, they have been out of the media glare.
And now, the couple took to Instagram to announce the name of the baby. They have named the baby ‘Vamika’. Vamika refers to a form of Goddess Durga. Fans are loving this unique and meaningful name.
Making the announcement, Anushka wrote on Instagram, “We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one , Vamika has taken it to a whole new level ! Tears , laughter , worry , bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! Sleep is elusive. but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes , prayers and good energy.”
She also shared the first picture with the baby in which the couple can be seen adorably looking at their bundle of joy.
