Raveena Tandon To Play Protagonist In Indian Adaptation Of American Series Revenge

Raveena Tandon to headline another series playing a powerful role in the Indian Remake of American series Revenge

Raveena Tandon entered the OTT world after years of break from acting. She was greatly appreciated for her role as a police officer in ‘Aranyak’. Post her debut web series and her return to screens fans waited to see more from her. Here comes great news for fans who have been wanting more from the Mohra actor. Reportedly, Raveena Tandon will be a part of the Indian Remake of American series Revenge.

After Aranyak Tandon will front another strong series playing a significant character. It is alleged that she will get into Emily Vancamp’s shoes for the Indian adaptation of the American series Revenge. As per the sources, she will play the primary protagonist in the series.

The actress will play the lead role of Emily Vancamp from the original. The Indian adaptation will stream online on Disney+ Hotstar. ‘Revenge’ is a mystery that revolves around a young woman who sets out to take revenge against people who have done wrong to her father. The original is a four seasons series, it is yet known how many seasons would be created in the Hindi version. 

Actress Waluscha De Souza and Varun Sood are also expected to be a part of the series. Ruchi Narain, fame of the Netflix film Guilty, will direct the show. The Hindi adaptation of Revenge is currently in the pre-production stage. 

On the professional front, Raveena Tandon last appeared in KGF Chapter 2 as Prime Minister Rashmika Sen. She was humbled and grateful for the appreciation she received as Ramika Sen. The actress will collaborate with Sanjay Dutt again in ‘Ghudchadhi’ which is directed by Benoy Gandhi.
