Ranveer Singh Tells Cops He Didn’t Know His N*de Photoshoot Will Create Trouble

Ranveer Singh tells Mumbai police in his statement that he did not know that the photoshoot would create much trouble for him.

After much buzz and controversies, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has finally recorded his statement to the Mumbai police for his famous infamous n*de photoshoot case. As reported the actor earlier demanded a time period of two weeks from the cops while on Monday he got his statement recorded for 2 hours at Mumbai’s Chembur Police station.

Ranveer Singh Records His Statement At Mumbai Police Station

On Monday, the Padmaavat actor Ranveer Singh finally went to the Chembur police station in Mumbai to record his statement regarding his very controversial n*de photoshoot. As per the reports, the Bollywood actor appeared before the investigating officer around 7 am soon after which his statement was recorded.

While almost after spending 2 hours in the investigation, the actor left the police station at around 9.30 am. While the official has now said that they might call Ranveer Singh again if required. According to an ETimes report, Ranveer said that he did not know that the photoshoot would create much trouble for him. He added that he had not uploaded the controversial photos.

About Ranveer Singh’s N*de Photoshoot Case

Apparently, the reports and the case has been registered by a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) at the Chembur police station in the east Mumbai suburb. The complainant stated the actor has hurt the sentiments of women and insulted their modesty through his photographs. A source revealed to ANI, “We received an application from a person associated with an NGO on Monday. No FIR is registered so far. We are enquiring,”.

Last month, the actor posted a series of pictures from his nude photoshoot on Instagram. His comment section is flooded with appreciation from his celebrity friends in the industry. However, the actor got brutally trolled for his photoshoot. Many Bollywood celebs later supported Ranveer, including his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor among many others.

Ranveer Singh On Work Front

On the work front, Ranveer was recently seen in the Ranveer vs Wild with Bear Grylls. He will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus with Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. He also has Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Alia Bhatt.
