Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh recently grabbed the eyeballs of the netizens with his sensational and much controversial n*de photo shoot for a magazine which went viral soon after the actor shared his pictures from the shoot. However, on Monday an NGO filed a complaint against the actor alleging his nude photoshoot hurt the sentiments of women.
NGO Files Complaint Against Ranveer Singh
As per recent reports, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has now landed into legal trouble for his recent viral photoshoot. As per ANI, the complaint application was submitted at the Chembur police station by a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) based in the east Mumbai suburb. The complainant stated the actor has hurt the sentiments of women and insulted their modesty through his photographs. A source revealed to ANI, “We received an application from a person associated with an NGO on Monday. No FIR is registered so far. We are enquiring,”.
On Friday evening, Ranveer Singh posted a series of pictures from his nude photoshoot on Instagram. His comment section is flooded with appreciation from his celebrities in the industry. However, the actor got brutally trolled for his photoshoot.
Meanwhile, many B-town actors stood up for the actor and slammed the trolls, actor Arjun Kapoor who is one of his good friends said, “The thing is, you should be allowed to be yourself. He is that way. Mujhe nahi lagta Ranveer Singh kabhi bhi kisi cheez ko karte hai without being himself. Koi dikhawa nahi hai unme. Aap unhe 10-12 saal se dekh rahe hai,”.
Apart from Arjun, actress Alia Bhatt was also seen backing up the actor during a recent event, “I don’t like anything negative being said about my favorite Ranveer Singh so I can’t tolerate this question.” She further added, “I love him and he is eternally favorite to all of us. He has given so much to the movies so we should only give him love.”
On the work front, Ranveer was recently seen in the Ranveer vs Wild with Bear Grylls. He will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus with Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. He also has Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Alia Bhatt.
