Ranveer Singh Kick-Starts Work Post Six-Month Break Amid The COVID-19 Pandemic

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the entertainment industry came to a scratching halt in mid-March. Now, the show biz is slowly getting back on its feet as various production work of many ventures is resuming. As per the latest reports, Ranveer Singh kick-starts work post-six-month break due to the nationwide lockdown.

Ranveer Singh has resumed work by stepping out to shoot for an ad. The ad was shot at a suburban studio in Mumbai. The shooting for the ad went on for three days in eight-hour shift.

According to the reports, following the guidelines issued by the authorities, only 20 members were chosen to be there on the sets while shooting.

These members were tested before the shoot, and also the set was sanitized before and after the shoot.

The ad director already had chalked out the plan so everyone on the sets knew exactly what is to be done. The ad featuring Ranveer Singh will go on-air before the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh has his kitty full with films like ’83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, a few more. The hearsay suggests that Ranveer will also have a special cameo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Speaking of ’83, the film helmed by Kabir Khan was set to release on April 10, 2020. However, due to the lockdown, the makers indefinitely postponed the release date of the movie.

Reportedly, the makers have ruled out the option of releasing the movie on an OTT platform. They are willing to wait as they want the movie to be released on the big screen.

’83 is a movie based on the Indian cricket team’s maiden World Cup victory in 1983. The cup was won under the leadership of Kapil Dev, whose character Ranveer Singh will play in the movie.

The star cast of the movie is full of potential and fans are eager to relive the moment that changed the face of Indian cricket history forever.
