On the occasion of International Day of Sign Languages which is celebrated on September 23, 2020, Ranveer is gearing to come up with the initiatives.
Alongside being the International Day of Sign Languages, it is also International Week of the Deaf. The initiatives will be under Ranveer Singh’s independent record label Inc Ink.
The motive of these initiatives is to raise awareness on making Indian Sign Language the 23rd official language of India.
A source reveals, Ranveer Singh has always been raising his voice on social issues. The actor ever signed a petition recently. It is aiming to create more awareness on making Indian Sign Language an official Indian language.
The source further adds, “He (Ranveer) is dedicating the entire International Week of the Deaf starting September 23rd to bring as much awareness on this issue as possible. He has taken it upon himself to make a visible change in society.”
According to the reports, Ranveer is also planning to release a couple of songs in sign language under his label Inc Ink. It will reportedly happen this week.
The Gully Boy actor will have an in-depth conversation with the deaf community in India. Later, he will engage with them on certain initiatives he is planning to launch.
The actor is going to urge people to sign a petition. Speaking of the petition, it is to make Indian Sign Language an official language of India.
The actor’s noble deed will have a positive impact on over 10 million deaf people in the country. So, Ranveer Singh decided to help the deaf community in India.
