Ranveer Singh EXITS Prasanth Varma’s Film, ‘Rakshas’, Here’s Why

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly walked out of Prasanth Varma's upcoming project, "Rakshas" due to creative differences.

Reportedly, Ranveer Singh, who is anticipating his first child with actress-wife Deepika Padukone, has chosen to withdraw from Prasanth Varma’s ‘Rakshas.’ The film is situated within Indian mythology and Ranveer was rumored to portray a multifaceted character with elements of negativity and darkness.

According to the latest report, Ranveer and Prasanth have mutually agreed to separate paths on the project due to creative disparities. A source revealed to Pinkvilla, that Ranveer had traveled to Hyderabad in April for a photo shoot to announce the film. Despite all preparations being in place, the official announcement has encountered a setback. Ranveer Singh will no longer feature in Prashanth Varma’s ‘Rakshas’. They have mutually decided to part ways due to creative differences.

The source added, “They were exploring and deciding several solutions, but they have decided to move on now with the promise of collaborating in the near future”. Prasanth, known for directing ‘HanuMan’, will initiate the casting process for ‘Rakshas’ again, aiming to bring the film to the big screen prior to commencing work on ‘Jai HanuMan’.

Ranveer Singh’s Upcoming Films

Ranveer Singh’s upcoming projects include Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’, boasting an ensemble cast featuring Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Furthermore, he is engaged in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’, where he was introduced as the new Don in ‘Don 3: The Final Chapter’ by Farhan Akhtar last year.
