Ranjha Vikram Singh On Demise Of Dilip Kumar And Surekha Sikri

Fauji Calling actor Ranjha Vikram Singh speaks about the cinema's loss with the demise of Dilip Kumar and Surekha Sikri.

Indian cinema has lost two legendary actors in the last one month. Thespian Dilip Kumar passed away at the age of 98 and a few days later, Balika Vadhu fame Surekha Sikri died of cardiac arrest at 75 years of age.

The entire entertainment industry mourned their sad demise and prayed for their souls. Recently, actor Ranjha Vikram Singh connected with us via a zoom call and expressed his grief. He said, “I never got a chance to meet him. But there’s no film of Dilip saab that I haven’t watched. He was a fabulous actor and human being as I have heard from people of the industry. So, obviously, it is a big loss. But the only relief is that he died peacefully. May his soul rest in peace.”

“Even Sukrekha Ji was one of my favorite artists. I couldn’t work with her. But what an actor she was! I can just say that they should be happy souls,” he added.

Ranjha Singh was recently seen playing a soldier in the film ‘Fauji Calling’. It also starred Sharman Joshi and showcased the sacrifices made by a soldier’s family. He is now prepping up for a bilingual film titled ‘Ziddi Jatt’. It will be released in Hindi and Punjabi. Ranjha Vikram Singh will not only be seen as the lead actor but is also producing the film under his banner Running Horses Production. The film will go on floors soon and is expected to release in 2022.
