A few days ago the B-Town welcomed Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari as the new Bunty and Babli. The 2005 super hit film is going to get a sequel under the YRF banner, and the audience is all in the mood to welcome the fresh pair on the big screen. Amidst of all these reports, to add more hype fresh news is out which reveals that Rani Mukherji and Saif Ali Khan are also going to be seen sharing the screen alongside Siddhant and Sharvari in the Bunty Aur Babli 2, as the senior cons.
Rani Mukherji and Saif Ali Khan were last seen together in the 2008 comedy-drama Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, which didn’t do that well on the box office but the pair got much of the love from the audience. In a recent talk, both Rani and Saif expressed their joy of coming together for this much-awaited movie. When asked about why wasn’t Abhishek Bachchan able to make it to the sequel as Bunty again, Rani said, “things couldn’t work out with Abhishek and he will surely be missed.” She further added that the Bunty Aur Babli 2 team is very much happy to welcome Saif and also that she has lovely memories of working with him. She couldn’t control her joy when she confessed, “I’m really looking forward to create something new and exciting with Saif in Bunty Aur Babli 2.”
When Saif was questioned about his new avatar as senior Bunty he said, “It’s fresh and hilarious and extremely engaging”, which expressed how thrilled he is for this role. When commenting about working alongside Rani again, Saif said that he and Rani have always had fun working together and he is looking forward to their creative collaboration once again. The chemistry between Rani and Saif surely caused a lot of sparks when they came together in films like Hum Tum and Tara Rum Pum. As Bunty and Babli 2 is going to showcase two pairs of con artists, it will be interesting to look forward to how many people are going to get tricked into watching the film which is to be released in 2020.
On the work front, Saif is currently working on Laal Kaptaan while Rani is enjoying the success of her newly released movie Mardaani 2. According to the sources, the new pair Siddhant and Sharvari have already begun shooting for Bunty Aur Babli 2.
