Iconic film star Randhir Kapoor is all set to sell his ancestral Chembur home and shifting base to Bandra for being close to daughters Karisma and Kareena and also Babita.

Post his brother Rajiv Kapoor’s untimely and tragic demise in February 2021, Randhir to sell his ancestral home in Chembur permanently.

Randhir Kapoor is all set to finally shift his base from Chembur to Bandra and the Ram Teri Ganga Maili star is going to sell off his ancestral house situated in Chembur and also he has brought a new property near the Mount Mary Church in Bandra. The main reason behind this decision and move of the star is because he wants to be closer to his wife Babita and daughter Kareena and Karisma Kapoor’s homes as well.

By now the Pukar fame actor’s new home in Bandra would have been totally ready for moving had the second wave of COVID 19 not affected the entire country and in his Chembur residence he stayed with his brother Rajiv Kapoor who passed away in February 2021 this year and from there on, he has been staying alone and in one of his interviews off late, Randhir also shared about how his late brother Rajiv also had a place in Pune but he resided with him in Chembur.

He explaining same shared, “Rajiv largely stayed with me, he had a house in Pune but he was mostly in Mumbai. Now, I am moving near Babita, Bebo and Lolo’s homes”.

Also opening up on his decision of moving out of his Chembur residence, Randhir asserts, “My parents had told me that I can stay in this (Chembur) home for as long as I want, but the day I decide to sell it, I will have to share the sale proceeds with my siblings Rishi, Rajiv, Ritu and Rima. That’s fine as I have done well for myself in my career and also invested well”.
