In an exclusive interview with Lehren, Rishi shared his thoughts on Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal controversy and its portrayal of violence. The actor then questioned why Sandeep Reddy Vanga didn’t felt too much intense violence and sexually affecting scenes were infused in the movie, especially given the film’s lengthy runtime of over three hours.

Rishi noted that typically, a hero fights against a villain, but in ‘Animal’, with the hero taking on a giant anti-hero role, it raises questions about who ultimately addresses the anti-hero’s actions.
