Ranbir Kapoor Reveals Idea Of Brahmastra Hit Ayan Mukerji On The Sets Of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani

Ranbir Kapoor has revealed that his friend Ayan Mukerji was planning to make Brahmastra when he was directing Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani

Brahmastra: Part One Shiva is just a few days away from its much-awaited release. Ayan Mukerji has plans to create his own Brahmastra universe. The fantasy adventure drama showcases multiple characters as Astra’s. Ranbir Kapoor has revealed that Ayan Mukerji had dreamt of Brahmastra on the sets of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. 

A major pre-release event was scheduled to be held in Hyderabad, unfortunately, it got cancelled. The pre-release event was conducted by Jr NTR, however, for some reason, it didn’t take place. The event was postponed but a press conference was conducted. It was attended by the entire team of Brahmastra but director Ayan was missing. Ranbir Kapoor revealed that Ayan Mukerji dreamt of Brahmastra on the sets of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Before Brahmastra Ayan directed YJHD starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. 

During the media event of the film held in Hyderabad RK revealed how the idea of Brashmastra came into the picture. He said, “I remember, on sets of YJHD, he was dreaming of this idea which was beyond what anyone has done in the Hindi film industry. It was two 26-year-old boys talking movies and today, we are 7 days away from the release. It’s unfortunate we couldn’t go ahead with the event. We had planned some really cool stuff. I had learnt some Telugu lines too.”

Brahmastra is a visual wonder with high on VFX promising to give the greatest visual experience in Indian cinema. The film in itself is a universe unraveling mythological characters and astras. Brahmastra is an astraverse for people to experience a never seen before world of Ancient Indian Astras.

Brahmastra is written and directed by Ayan Mukerji and bankrolled by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Production. The film features an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy among others. Brahmastra: Part One Shiva is finally set to hit the theaters on September 9.
