Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is nearing its release finally after the hard work for years. The movie will feature real-life couples Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. In a process of bringing the film to theaters, the makers have started releasing songs. The first song Kesariya of the much-awaited film was released this Sunday making it a weekend treat for RaLia fans.
Ever since the teaser was launched the song has garnered immense popularity. Nevertheless, the audience can now listen to the full song which is also referred to as the Love Anthem of the year. Soon parents to be who are featured in the movie as Shiva and Isha have revealed their thoughts on the new romantic number.
Ranbir Kapoor said, “The freshness of the song has resonated with the audience really well. I would like to thank the entire team for creating a song that has touched countless hearts and I am sure the audience will cherish the warm experience of the full song.”
Alia Bhatt added, “For me, Kesariya is a feeling that one experiences when they are happy and content with something. It was the first glimpse from Brahmastra Part One: Shiva and it holds a special place for me and the entire crew. The song draws me in whenever I listen to it, and I’m sure that the song will touch the hearts of the audience.”
The Love song Kesariya is a work of prominent artists, sung by Arjit Singh, composed by Pritam and lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. In addition, it has been choreographed by none other than Ganesh Acharya.
Talking about making this romantic track, director Ayan Mukerji said, “Working with Pritam Da, Arijit, Amitabh Bhattacharya, and the entire team on Kesariya has been a momentous experience. Pritam Da always manages to save the best for me since Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. I am personally very excited about all the versions – Arijit Singh, Sid Sriram, Sanjith Hegde and Hesham Abdul Wahab, they have all rendered it so beautifully and soulfully which shows across all versions. We all love the sizzling chemistry of Ranbir and Alia in the song, which hints at the strong bond they share. Fans all around the world have celebrated Ranbir-Alia’s love through the teaser, and I am very sure, the full track will surpass everyone’s expectations.”
Directed by Ayan Mukerji Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is backed by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions. The film is set to hit the theaters on 9th September 2022. The fantasy drama stars an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna. It will be dropped in theaters in multiple languages.
