It’s not a secret anymore, nor can Ranbir or Alia keep it a secret any longer. Everyone knows, RanLia is getting married, and fans can’t seem to control their excitement knowing that the two love birds, after dating for almost 4 years, finally will tie the knot in a couple of days. Ranbir hasn’t really been very vocal about his marriage plans, but we bring to you a flashback video where the ‘Rockstar’ actor revealed his future wedding plans.
Ranbir can be seen in the video, sharing how his chances of marrying an actress were quite high because according to him, he doesn’t really have a life, beyond films. When the actor was asked, whether or not he’d marry an actress, he promptly replied, “I can’t say anything about that because love can happen any time. It’s just that chances of me marrying an actress are high because those are the people who I meet and interact with.”
He also shared how he actually doesn’t have a life, outside of movies and hence thinks it’s one of the main reasons why many actors and actresses end up marrying each other. “Usually, beyond films, we don’t have a real life. But, as they say in this industry, never say never. I won’t just take the plunge for the sake of it,” said Ranbir. on being asked, if it is difficult for actors to have a love life and manage it with their professional life, he said that it’s as difficult as one wants to make it. Ranbir strictly believes that in life, nothing comes easy and that nothing really happens magically or organically.
“One has to make some sacrifices and adjustments, and compromises. When you are in a relationship, you have to take out time even if you don’t have it. It’s like turning a 24-hour day into a 28-hour day,” added Ranbir. Fast-forward to the current time, Ranbir has finally found his lady love in Alia, after dealing with his own share of ups and downs in his love life, is finally set to enter into wedlock with Alia, in the presence of their family members and close friends.

Although the couple never officially released a statement about their wedding, Alia had earlier addressed the rumours and said how even if she someday really gets married to Ranbir, no one will believe it. “Whoever is spreading these rumours, it has become like the boy who cried wolf. They are crying wolf so often that actually when I am supposedly getting married, people will think it’s a rumour and it will be great for me because no one will know,” she said.
