Their wedding ceremony was intimate and we are not complaining! Ranbir and Alia took promises for a lifetime at their home in the presence of just their family members and closest friend Karan Johar. The small and cosy celebrations of their union have truly given us some major goals.
While Ranbir and Alia’s families and cousins were a part of the function, everyone missed late Rishi Kapoor Ji. While it was impossible to fill his void, the newlyweds celebrated him by recreating a special moment from his wedding day.
Ranbir and Alia drank champagne and recreated an image from Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor’s wedding. However, they gave it a modern twist by tangling their arms into each other’s and then drinking down the champagne from their glass.

Ranbir and Alia’s wedding was a blend of Indian and western rituals. While on one hand, they dressed up in desi outfits and officiated their marriage with Hindu rituals, they added a little western twist by cutting a gorgeous cake and celebrating with champagne.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married at Ranbir’s house in Bandra on the 14th of April. This year, they will also be seen in a film together for the first time. It is a fantasy fiction film titled Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is slated for theatrical release on 9 September 2022.
