Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was suspended after she tweeted about post-poll violence in West Bengal.
Her controversial tweet read, “This is horrible..we need super gundai to kill gundai. She is like an unleashed monster, to tame her Modi ji plesae show your virat roop from early 2000s. #PresidentRuleInBengal.”
Micro-blogging site Twitter permanently suspended her account saying, “We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behaviour that has the potential to lead to offline harm. The referenced account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically our Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy. We enforce the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service.”
Rakhi Sawant, who was recently spotted in Lokhandwala was asked to comment on the same. She said, “Acha hua. Aise bol ke desh me bhai-bhaiyon ko ladana nahi chahiy na. Ek ek city ko nahi ladana chahiy. Hum desh ke nagrik hain, aur hume aise koi comment nahi karne chahiy jo desh ke baccho ke khilaf ho, desh ke logon ke khilaf ho, desh ke matriyon ke khilaf ho. Desh se gaddari nahi karni chahiy. To Twitter valon ko jo sahi laga, unhone kiya.”
