Rakesh Roshan Shares The First Review Of Saif-Hrithik’s Film Vikram Vedha
As per a Mid-Day report, Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan recently shared his review on Vikram Vedha, he said, “As Hrithik’s father, I may sound biased. But as a director, I can tell you that Saif and Hrithik are on par with each other in the film. If there was a slight imbalance in their performances, the movie wouldn’t have worked.”
Comparing the remake with the original film, he added, “I had seen the Tamil Vikram Vedha before. After I watched Hrithik and Saif’s movie, I didn’t feel it was a remake. The directors have changed some sequences and added elements to make it a new film altogether while retaining its essence. There are many Hollywood remakes, too, but how a director presents the film matters.”
Meanwhile, this is not the first time the veteran shared his review on the film, earlier during an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he said, “I have seen Vikram Vedha and it’s a very intelligently presented script which shows that the director duo [Pushkar-Gayatri] has worked very hard. They have presented the plot in a very novel way. Both actors have done a tremendous job.”
He further talked about the teaser and promo, “When I saw the teaser of Vikram Vedha, I was amazed and my first reaction was that I have to see this movie. And this was my reaction, though I saw the promo alone on a small monitor in the editing room. And as per the comments I have seen, the audience has also reacted the same way. So your trailer needs to pack a punch, as it showcases your film.”

For the unversed, Vikram Vedha is a remake of the 2017 Tamil film by the same name. However, the original flick featured R Madhavan as Vikram and Vijay Sethupati as Vedha in the film. The Hindi remake of the Tamil film features Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, the film is helmed by Pushkar & Gayatri and is produced by Bhushan Kumar & S. Sashikanth and Reliance Entertainment. Vikram Vedha is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks & Jio Studios and a YNOT Studios Production. Vikram Vedha will have a global release on 30th September 2022.
