For anyone who has watched the 2017 film Bareilly Barfi knows that Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao share adorable chemistry on the big screen. Their Jodi was lauded by the audience and the critics as well. Meanwhile, Rajkummar and Kriti are all set to star in Abhishek Jain’s upcoming venture. However, the venture has been delayed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. But there is a bit of good news for Rajkumar and Kriti’s fans as the makers have made small progress.
The good news is that the makers have settled for a title for their upcoming film which also features veteran stars Dimple Kapadia and Paresh Rawal. Director Abhishek Jain has confirmed that their upcoming project will be titled as Second Innings as it perfectly fits their story.
The plot of the Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon revolved around a couple that decides to adopt parents to fill the void in their lives. The comedy film will tackle another societal issue. The director of the film Abhishek Jain further revealed that they were supposed to begin filming in March in Delhi but now the crew is waiting for the situation to get back to normal so that they can go ahead with their schedule.
We hope that the situation gets back to normal soon so that we can experience Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon entertaining us on the big screen. And we are sure that they will pull off this unconventional script with apt perfection.
Currently, the situation in India is still going down with more and more cases of COVID-19 positive cases being found around the nation.
