Besides Pathan, Shah Rukh Khan has a sleuth of many interesting film projects in the offing right now, Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017) fame iconic hindi film actor and global superstar is also going to be seen essaying the character of a Punjabi guy in Rajkumar Hirani’s next directorial venture which is now all set for going on floors to start production and shooting schedule and we all know how much the director had been working on this upcoming film from quite sometime now.
According to a recent news report from a leading digital bollywood portal, Rajkumar Hirani has already locked in his final script and is all set to begin prep work as well and a well known trade source has also been quoted saying, “Hirani and his writing partner, Kanikka Dhillon have finally locked the full-fledged screenplay of their film. They are happy with the outcome and are now all geared up to start the prep work of the film”.
The report also says that the ace filmmaker has collaborated with casting director Mukesh Chhabra to get a formidable and brilliant ensemble star cast for this much awaited film on board which is said to be set against the backdrop of immigration and is said to be a social dramedy.
This untitled project will be shot in Canada in which the Badla (2019) fame rising bollywood starlet Taapsee Pannu has been roped in to play the female lead and this particular film would probably start sometime in next year 2022.
We all know that SRK and Taapsee had earlier worked together in ‘Badla’. The thriller was produced by Shah Rukh Khan under his banner Red Chillies Entertainment.
