Businessman Raj Kundra had deactivated his social media accounts soon after he was released on bail in a p*rnographic content case. Raj was arrested by Mumbai Police Crime Branch on July 19 and was granted bail by the court after two months. In the meantime, he was subjected to social media trolling and criticism. In order to avoid negativity, Raj had decided to stay away from social media. However, his profile has now again surfaced on Instagram.
He has reactivated his old profile but has set the account to private. This means that people who don’t follow him, will not be able to see his posts. He has also deleted all his posts. He currently has 977k followers on the app. Meanwhile, he is following only 1 account, and it’s not his wife Shilpa Shetty. He is also not following his son Viaan either.
Raj is following the social media account of their restaurant Bastian located in Bandra.
Recently on the occasion of Christmas, Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty took a trip to Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.
Raj Kundra also talked about the entire controversy to a leading media portal. He said, “After much contemplation, considering there are many misleading and irresponsible statements and articles floating around and my silence has been misconstrued for weakness. I would like to start by stating that I have NEVER been involved in the production and distribution of ‘pornography’ EVER in my life.”
“This whole episode has been nothing but a witch hunt. The matter is sub judice so I can not elucidate, but I am ready to face trial and have full faith in the judiciary, where the truth will prevail,” he added.
