Radhika Apte has created a beautiful journey for herself in acting starting from Short films to commercial movies and upgraded herself with the arrival of OTT. She has been through every platform of Bollywood. Not a newbie to the digital space the talented actor Radhika Apte is now gearing up for her web movie Forensic, which will stream on Zee5. The actor known for her short film ‘Phobia’ has disclosed what attracted her to sign the Zee5 project.
No, it was not the concept, great idea, or the scripting that appealed to her. It was her co-star that enticed her to confirm a role for ‘Forensic’. Radhika will essay a police officer alongside Forensic Officer played by Vikrant Massey. The Andhadhun actress said yes to this crime thriller movie for Vikrant Massey.
Radhika revealed, “Vikrant was the reason I said yes to the film. I hadn’t read the script. The script came much later. I wanted to work with Vikrant for a really long time and he’s a great actor. I had a great time working with him. He is effortless! Vikrant gives so much, he’s patient, kind, and generous on-screen and off-screen.”
Talking about his off-screen behavior, Radhika added, “off screen, Vikrant is really quiet, he likes reading and is very interested in lots of different ideas and topics. It was really nice to actually be with him on set.”
On the other hand, Vikrant also appreciated working with Radhika. He said: “Working with Radhika has been fantastic. I am really glad that I did this film with her. We both have been wanting to work with each other for quite some time and here we are for the first time collaborating on an incredible movie like Forensic. She is such a riot off-screen. She loves pulling pranks on people. She is someone who thoroughly enjoys her time on set, and I had a good time with her.”
Forensic is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. The crime thriller movie is directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Mini FIlms and Soham Rockstar Entertainment. The movie also stars Prachi Desai, Vindu Dara Singh, and Rohit Roy. It will be premiered on Zee5 on 24th June.
On the work front, Radhika has an upcoming movie Vikram Vedha with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan. She will also be seen in Mrs. Undercover with Sumeet Vyas. While Vikrant Massey has Gaslight, Sector 36, and Cargo in the pipeline.
