The much-anticipated biopic movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is creating a buzz. Just a week before its release R Madhavan shared the brand new poster of the film Rocketry. The movie is headlined by R Madhavan as he will be portraying the role of ISRO engineer Nambi Narayan.
The new poster displays the star as a young visionary scientist with a rocket and India’s flag by his side. The movie revolves around the life of a former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist and aerospace engineer – Nambi Narayanan. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect unravels the truth behind the spy scandal that changed the scientists’ life.
The makers dropped the new poster of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. R Madhavan took to his Instagram account to share the poster. He captioned the post: “NEW POSTER FOLKS —The story of a great scientist, a true patriot, who was turned into a villain in the blink of an eye. Rocketry The Nambi Effect releasing in theatres on 1st July 2022.”
The movie marks the directorial debut of actor Maddy. He donned the director’s hat to deliver the story of Nambi Narayanan with a mission to make people aware of his contributions to space technology. Madhavan said: “Everyone knows Nambi Narayanan only in connection with the espionage case against him. Despite this, most of them have no idea of his contributions to the realm of space technology and what made him eligible for Padma Bhushan.”
‘Russia had sent a dog to outer space and the people commemorate the animal with reverence. Even after India bagged several success stories in space research, we do not know any scientists other than APJ Abdul Kalam, Vikram Sarabhai, or UR Rao,” added Madhavan.
The actor of ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’ star has left no stone unturned to promote his first directorial. He also visited Texas to meet Astronaut Sunita Williams with ISRO engineer Nambi Narayan. The biographical movie is all set to hit big screens on 1st July 2022.
R Madhavan is a renowned name in both the Hindi and the South film industry. He has delivered hits like 3 idiots, Tanu weds Manu, and Dil Vil pyar Vyar in Bollywood. And in the South, he was featured in Maara, Vikram Vedha, and Vettai among others.
